Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a small baking sheet or ovenproof dish with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, combine slices of apple and pear with cranberries if using. Drizzle with melted butter and sprinkle brown sugar, salt, and optional cinnamon over the fruits. Toss to coat.

Baking

  • Place the Brie wheel in the center of your lined baking dish. Arrange the sweetly coated fruit around and slightly on top of the Brie.
  • Bake for 10–15 minutes or until the Brie feels soft and the fruits are caramelizing. Broil for 1–2 minutes for extra caramelization.
  • Remove from the oven, sprinkle with nuts if desired, and drizzle with extra honey or maple syrup. Garnish with herb sprigs.

Serving

  • Serve on a platter surrounded by crusty bread, crackers, or toasted baguette slices.

Notes

Use high-quality Brie for the best melt. Feel free to experiment with seasonal fruits like figs or persimmons.
