Ingredients

Vanilla Filling Ingredients

  • 115 g unsalted butter, softened Creamy and rich filling.
  • 180 g powdered sugar Adds smoothness.
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream For an indulgent texture.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract Enhances the flavor of the filling.

Instructions

Make the Macaron Batter

  • Sift the almond flour and powdered sugar into a large mixing bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites until frothy and gradually add granulated sugar until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold the dry mixture into the whipped egg whites in small batches.
  • Add pink food coloring until evenly blended.

Pipe & Bake

  • Transfer the macaron batter into a piping bag fitted with a round tip.
  • Pipe heart shapes onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Let the macarons sit for 30-40 minutes to form a skin.
  • Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C) and bake for 12-14 minutes.
  • Let them cool completely.

Prepare the Vanilla Filling

  • Beat the softened unsalted butter until fluffy.
  • Gradually incorporate powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and heavy cream.
  • Pipe the filling onto half of the macaron shells and sandwich them together.

Chill & Serve

  • Refrigerate the assembled macarons for at least 12-24 hours.
  • Serve and enjoy!
