Tremendous Savory Steak Bites and Shrimp

Ingredients

For the Steak and Shrimp

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional) Adjust according to taste.

For the Sauce

  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme

Instructions

Marination

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the sirloin steak pieces with minced garlic, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Allow the steak to marinate for about 15 minutes.

Cooking the Steak

  • Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated steak in a single layer and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
  • Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

Cooking the Shrimp

  • In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and toss in the shrimp. Season with garlic, paprika, cayenne, salt, and black pepper.
  • Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side or until they turn pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.

Making the Sauce

  • Melt the butter in the same skillet. Stir in soy sauce, honey, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, dried thyme, and dried rosemary. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.

Combining the Ingredients

  • Add the seared steak bites and shrimp back into the skillet. Toss everything in the sauce and heat through for an additional minute.

Notes

Marinate longer for intensified flavor. Avoid overcooking shrimp to prevent rubbery texture. Experiment with spices for customization.
