Instructions

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, dissolve the yeast and sugar in warm water and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
  • Stir in the olive oil, salt, and flour until a dough forms. Knead until smooth and elastic.
  • Cover the bowl and let it rise in a warm spot for about 60 minutes or until doubled in size.

Shaping and Topping

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and grease a large sheet pan with olive oil.
  • Punch the risen dough down, press it into the pan, and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
  • Spread pizza sauce over the dough, sprinkle with mozzarella and cheddar.
  • Scatter bell peppers, red onion, and olives over the cheese, then sprinkle oregano and red pepper flakes.

Baking
