Cilantro Cream Sauce Ingredients

Instructions

Preparation

  • Season the flank or sirloin steak generously with salt, pepper, and optional spices.
  • Grill or sear the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until desired doneness. Remove from heat and let it rest.
  • While the steak rests, grill the husked corn for about 10 minutes until charred. Allow to cool before cutting kernels off the cob.

Make the Cilantro Cream Sauce

  • In a blender, combine cilantro, sour cream, lime juice, garlic, olive oil, and salt. Blend until smooth.

Assemble the Bowl

  • In a bowl, layer warm rice, sliced steak, avocado, roasted corn, pickled red onions, and sliced jalapeños.
  • Drizzle with cilantro cream sauce and a squeeze of lime juice.
