Ingredients

For the Ramen

  • 1 package Korean ramen noodles
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 ounces thinly sliced beef (flank steak, skirt steak, or ribeye)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

For the Creamy Sauce

  • 1/4 cup smooth mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

Preparation

  • Cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions, usually boiling for about 3-4 minutes until tender, then drain and set aside.
  • In a small bowl, mix together gochujang, soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes until smooth.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and grill the sliced beef for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
  • In another small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sriracha, sesame oil, garlic powder, and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Assemble by placing the spicy ramen noodles in a bowl, topping with grilled beef slices, and drizzling the creamy sauce over the top.

Notes

For added flavor, marinate beef in soy sauce and garlic for 15 minutes before grilling. Serve with fresh vegetables for nutrition. Adjust spice levels with more or less gochujang and sriracha.
