  • 4 cups chicken broth Serves as a flavorful base that brings the dish together.
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream Introduces a luxurious creaminess that makes every bite divine.
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce Adds an umami depth to the broth.
  • 1 teaspoon chili oil (optional) For those who crave an extra layer of heat.

For the Noodles

  • 2 packs ramen noodles The satisfying base of the dish, soaking up all the delicious flavors.

Toppings

  • 2 pieces green onions, finely chopped Freshness and crunch to brighten the bowl.
  • optional soft-boiled egg and sesame seeds For additional flavor and texture.

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a medium bowl, coat the chicken with sriracha, honey, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Allow it to marinate for at least 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Cooking Chicken

  • Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the marinated chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until it’s charred and fully cooked. Let it rest before slicing into thick strips.

Preparing the Broth

  • In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté the minced garlic until it’s fragrant, about 1 minute. Slowly pour in the chicken broth, soy sauce, and heavy cream. Let it simmer gently for around 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. If you like it spicy, stir in the chili oil at this point.

Cooking the Ramen Noodles

  • Boil the ramen noodles according to the package instructions, avoiding the seasoning packets. Once cooked, drain and set them aside.

Assembly

  • Divide the noodles among bowls. Pour over the steaming creamy garlic broth, ensuring each bowl receives an ample amount. Arrange the sliced chicken beautifully on top.

Garnishing

  • Top with chopped green onions, and if you’re feeling indulgent, add a soft-boiled egg and a sprinkle of sesame seeds. For an extra kick, drizzle more chili oil on top if desired!

Notes

For substitutions, if you can’t find sriracha, any chili sauce will work, or you can use gochujang for a unique twist. Marinating the chicken longer (up to 2 hours) will enhance the flavors even more. For a vegetarian version, switch chicken for firm tofu and use vegetable broth. You can prepare the broth a day in advance for convenience; just reheat and add the noodles and chicken when ready to serve.
