Instructions

Preparation

  • Wash and cut the potatoes into halved or quartered pieces for uniform cooking.
  • In a large bowl, combine the potatoes with the Lipton Onion Soup Mix, olive oil, melted butter, minced garlic, black pepper, and optional paprika. Toss until well-coated.
  • Lightly grease the slow cooker, then add the potato mixture in an even layer.

Cooking

  • Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, stirring once or twice to ensure even cooking.
  • Once tender, stir gently to mix and garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

For uniform cooking, cut potatoes into even sizes. Consider adding sliced carrots or bell peppers for added color. You can also sprinkle in some cayenne pepper for extra heat!
