Instructions

Preparation

  • Begin by preheating your oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine lump crab meat, chopped shrimp, breadcrumbs, melted butter, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, parsley, dill (if using), salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese (if desired). Mix gently.
  • Place the salmon fillet skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet and make a slit lengthwise down the center to create a pocket.
  • Spoon the seafood mixture into the salmon pocket, gently mounding it over the top.

Cooking

  • Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes until it flakes easily with a fork and the topping is golden-brown.
  • Once baked, sprinkle with fresh herbs and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

For the best flavor, opt for fresh seafood. Customize herbs as desired. Add red pepper flakes for heat.
