Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.

Crust

  • In a medium bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs and melted butter. Press firmly into the bottom of the pan.
  • Bake for 10 minutes, then let it cool completely.

Filling

  • In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add granulated sugar.
  • Beat in sour cream and vanilla extract, followed by eggs one at a time.
  • Gently stir in cocoa powder and purple food coloring until well combined.
  • Fold in crushed Oreos for added texture.

Assembly

  • Pour the cheesecake batter into the cooled Oreo crust and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 60-70 minutes, then turn off the oven and leave the door ajar for an hour to cool.

Ganache
