Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, crumble and cook the ground beef with chopped onions and minced garlic until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in the spaghetti sauce into the cooked beef mixture until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, mix ricotta cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning until smooth.

Layering

  • In a baking dish, start with a layer of cooked lasagna noodles.
  • Add a layer of the beef sauce, followed by a layer of the ricotta mixture.
  • Finish with a generous layer of mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ensuring the top layer is mozzarella.

Baking
