Instructions

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, pour in the strawberry Jello and add 2 cups of boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved.
  • Stir in 2 cups of cold water. Transfer the bowl to the refrigerator until it begins to set, about 30 minutes.
  • In another bowl, combine softened cream cheese and powdered sugar. Beat until smooth, then fold in the whipped topping.
  • In a 9x13 inch dish, layer graham crackers at the bottom, half of the cream cheese mixture, followed by half of the set Jello mixture and half of the sliced strawberries.
  • Repeat by adding another layer of graham crackers, the remaining cream cheese mixture, the rest of the Jello, and the remaining sliced strawberries.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding a splash of lemon juice to the cream cheese mixture. Use fresh strawberries for best results and consider variations with seasonal fruits.
