Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Unroll the phyllo pastry carefully. Brush one sheet with melted butter, layer another sheet on top, and repeat this process until you have a stack of five sheets.
  • Cut the stacked phyllo into rectangles, approximately 3x4 inches. Repeat for the remaining sheets.

Assembly

  • Place a stack of phyllo on the baking sheet. Add slices of Brie, followed by cranberry sauce and sprinkle with toasted pecans.
  • Add another phyllo stack on top and repeat layering with Brie, cranberry sauce, and pecans.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and drizzle with honey or maple syrup. Sprinkle with extra pecans and thyme before serving.

Notes

Always keep unused phyllo sheets covered with a damp cloth to prevent drying out. Ensure even butter distribution for the best crispiness.
