  • Boil the jumbo pasta shells according to the package's instructions until al dente. Once cooked, drain and set them aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat your choice of oil or butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  • Stir in the heavy cream, allowing it to blend with the shrimp mixture. Add half of the shredded mozzarella cheese and mix until melted.

Assembly and Baking

  • In a large baking dish, combine the cooked pasta shells with the shrimp mixture. Mix gently to ensure that each shell is filled.
  • Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese over the top of the pasta mixture and add chopped green onions.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until bubbly and golden.

Serving

  • Allow the dish to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For added freshness, consider using fresh herbs like parsley or basil as a garnish. You can use pre-cooked shrimp for a quicker preparation. If desired, substitute mozzarella with cheddar or gouda for a different flavor.
