  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese Finely grated.
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper Freshly ground.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt Enhances all flavors.
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes Adds a spicy kick.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Boil the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • Sear the Steak: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter. Add the sirloin steak seasoned with salt and pepper. Cook until browned, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove and let rest before slicing.

Sauce Preparation

  • Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, lower the heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add heavy cream, stirring continuously, then add Parmesan and crushed red pepper flakes. Allow sauce to thicken for 2-3 minutes.

Combining & Serving

  • Combine Everything: Toss the linguine in the creamy garlic sauce until well coated. Place the sliced steak on top.
  • Serve Warm: Dish up immediately, garnishing with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Let steak rest after cooking for juicier slices. Customize spice levels to taste, and consider adding sautéed veggies for a nutritional boost.
