Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and line two 6-inch round cake pans.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, ground flaxseeds, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, blend the mashed avocados, maple syrup, olive oil, vanilla extract, and almond milk until smooth.
  • Gently mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.

Baking

  • Divide the batter evenly into the prepared pans. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
