For the Crab Bomb Filling

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, softened cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, and the beaten egg. Mix gently but thoroughly until the ingredients are well incorporated.
  • Using your hands, shape the mixture into small balls, roughly 1-1.5 inches in diameter.
  • Place the formed crab balls on a greased baking sheet. Drizzle melted butter over each crab bomb.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the bombs are golden brown and crispy on the outside.
  • If desired, sprinkle with chopped parsley for a fresh touch before serving hot.

Notes

Use fresh crab meat for better flavor. Don't overmix the filling to maintain the lumps of crab. Chill the mixture if it feels too soft. These crab bombs can be served with lemon wedges or dipping sauce.
