  • 1 tbsp crushed biscotti or ladyfinger crumbs Adds a delightful crunch and authentic tiramisu essence.
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder For dusting and adding a chocolatey note.
  • a dab maple syrup For sticking the crust to the glass rim.
  • 1 tbsp whipped cream or frothed milk (optional) Adds a creamy finish.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Combine crushed biscotti crumbs and cocoa powder on a small plate. Dip the rim of a chilled glass in maple syrup and roll in the crumb mixture. Chill the glass.
  • In a cocktail shaker or blender, combine the cooled espresso, mascarpone cheese, milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and almond extract (if using) with ice cubes. Shake or blend well until smooth and frothy.
  • Strain the blended mixture into the rimmed glass. Swirl in whipped cream or milk foam if desired. Dust with cocoa powder and garnish with a coffee bean or chocolate curl.
