  • 1 oz additional white candy coating for each color (for decorating) Will be tinted for decoration.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Crush the Golden Oreos into fine crumbs using a food processor or blender.
  • Transfer the cookie crumbs to a mixing bowl and add the softened cream cheese. Combine until thick and smooth.

Shaping

  • Scoop about 1½ tablespoons of the Oreo cream cheese mixture and roll into elongated egg shapes.
  • Place each shaped egg onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for about one hour.

Coating

  • Melt the white candy coating (10 ounces) either in a microwave or double boiler.
  • Using a toothpick, dip each egg into the melted coating, letting excess drip off, and place back onto parchment.
  • Cover any holes from the toothpick with extra melted candy.

Decorating

  • Melt about 1 ounce of white candy coating for each color to be used for decoration.
  • Add gel icing colors and mix until achieving desired hues, then drizzle over dried egg shapes.

Serving

  • Store decorated cookie balls in the refrigerator and serve within one week.

Notes

Ensure the Oreo mixture is chilled for optimal coating adherence. Consider using low-fat cream cheese for a lighter option.
