Instructions

Preparation

  • Place the boneless, skinless chicken breasts flat in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • Sprinkle the ranch seasoning and au jus mix over the chicken.
  • Layer the sliced butter over the chicken.
  • Surround the chicken with the pepperoncini peppers and add the pepperoncini juice.

Cooking

  • Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for about 4 hours.
  • Once cooked, shred the chicken in the pot and mix with the buttery juices.
  • Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or in sandwich rolls.

Notes

Use quality seasoning mixes and fresh chicken for best flavor. Avoid using frozen chicken breasts for even cooking.
