Instructions

Preparation

  • Rinse the dried fish quickly under running water to remove excess salt, then pat dry with a paper towel.

Cooking

  • Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the dried fish and fry for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Drain on a paper towel.
  • Prepare the spiced vinegar dip by combining vinegar, minced garlic, sliced chili, sugar, and salt in a small bowl. Let it sit for at least 10 minutes.
  • Serve the crispy fried dried fish hot, alongside the spiced vinegar dip.
