Ingredients

For the Lobster Tails

  • 2 pieces fresh lobster tails Choose the freshest you can find for the best flavor.
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter This will create the creamy sauce that envelops the lobster.
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely minced Adds an aromatic touch that complements the buttery sauce.
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream Provides the richness that makes this dish indulgent.
  • 1/4 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese Enhances the creaminess with a nutty flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice Offers brightness that balances the richness.
  • a pinch none sea salt Essential for flavor enhancement.
  • to taste none freshly ground black pepper Adds a mild heat.
  • a handful none chopped fresh parsley For garnish and added freshness.
  • as needed none lemon wedges Optional, for serving.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Using kitchen shears, carefully cut along the top shell of each lobster tail to expose the meat, keeping it attached at the base.

Making the Sauce

  • Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until aromatic.
  • Pour in the heavy cream, then add the Parmesan cheese and lemon juice. Stir continuously for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Season the sauce with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.

Baking

  • Place the prepared lobster tails on a baking sheet.
  • Generously spoon the creamy garlic butter sauce over the lobster meat.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the lobster meat turns opaque and fully cooked.

Serving

  • Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately, optionally with lemon wedges.

Notes

Always choose high-quality lobster for the best flavor. For extra depth, consider adding a sprinkle of smoked paprika to the cream sauce before it thickens. If you want to save time, prepare the garlic butter sauce in advance and reheat it just before serving.
