Preparation

Assembly

  • Lay one flour tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread an even layer of the mixture over the tortilla, leaving a half-inch border.
  • Starting from one edge, roll the tortilla tightly into a log shape.
  • Wrap the rolled tortilla in plastic wrap to maintain its shape.
  • Repeat with remaining tortillas and filling, refrigerate for at least one hour.
  • Remove wraps and slice each roll into 1-inch pieces.
  • Arrange slices on a serving platter.

Notes

For best results, chill the rolled tortillas before slicing to achieve clean cuts. Consider using whole wheat tortillas for a healthier option.
