Preparation

  • Slice the pears and place them into a bowl. Drizzle with fresh lemon juice and honey, tossing gently to coat.

Toasting Walnuts

  • Heat a dry non-stick pan over medium heat and add the chopped walnuts. Toss for 3-4 minutes until golden-brown.

Caramelizing Pears

  • In the same pan, melt the butter. Add the honey-coated pears and cook for 5-7 minutes until they soften and caramelize, turning occasionally.

Assembling the Salad

  • On serving plates, arrange arugula, then top with warm caramelized pears, crumbled blue cheese, and toasted walnuts.
