Instructions

Preparation

  • Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  • Layer fresh mozzarella on the non-buttered sides of the bread.
  • Add avocado and tomato slices, seasoning with salt and pepper and adding balsamic or pesto if desired.

Grilling

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the sandwich, buttered-side down.
  • Grill for about 2-3 minutes until cheese melts and bread toasts.
